Its back after a rest over the summer, Pina Coladas have been drunk, tan lines achieved, let’s get back to some great comedy.
We have lined up, 4 comedians for you to tackle your funny bones! This is usually a very popular event so make sure you get your tickets early!
MC: Mark Cram
He’s back! Sometimes unpredictable Mark is getting positive reactions & laughs everywhere he goes. A bisexual comedian with a unique take on the LGBT community; Mark thrills crowds with his tales of dead-end jobs, his family and being the less than grateful winner of Bedford Comedian of the Year nine years ago. Mark is a great stand up comedian with an act not to be missed.
Tadiwa Mahlunge
“one of the country’s top new comedy acts” performing at top venues and festivals alongside the biggest names in comedy.
You may have seen him on BBC 1, BBC 2, Dave, Comedy Central, UTV, Comic Relief, BBC Radio 4 – Tadiwa Mahlunge has established himself as one of comedy’s hottest prospects. See him here in Manningtree!
Stephanie Laing
She is best described as goofy and peculiar, and her comedy is partway between the needy oddness of Maria Bamford and the upbeat affability of Josie Long. Her material is a mix of silliness, filth and unusual observations, underpinned by a disarming honesty which makes her seem charmingly vulnerable.
Headlining Matt Price
Matt Price has proven himself to be consistently funny in comedy venues of all shapes and sizes, all over the world from Penzance to Cambodia to a piece of ply wood on top of a former gangland criminal’s hot tub. Matt interacts with an audience in a way that makes everyone in the room feel good, he tells jokes and he spins a great yarn. In short, Matt is accessible, professional and above all, very funny.
Before comedy, he also had a short career in boxing, and wrote a book on the subject.
